I was saddened to learn of tony's death. I remember being saddened - along with the rest of Elyria Catholic, when Tony was injured & paralyzed in a football game. I was one of the volunteers from the football team to work on the ramp on the back of Tony's house. Joe Kukucka Class of '65

I have thought of Tony many times in my life, though I left Elyria in 1963 after graduating from EHS. I attended EC and St. Jude's prior to that. Tony, his brothers, and all the Aulisio family have always been a great inspiration for me. I have prayed for Tony often. My heart goes out to this family and I know that Tony is in the loving arms of Our Lord. God bless all the Aulisio family and friends, so many and so special. And God bless the St. Jude, St. Mary, and Elyria Catholic families, also. Sincerely, Jim Szabo Cherokee Nation Tahlequah, Oklahoma

Dear Aulisio Family, I was so sorry to read of Tony's death. I doubt that you know me and I really don't know you, but I did attend Elyria Catholic in 1965 and remember what had happened to Tony. I moved away a long time ago but did over the years think about him and wonder how he was doing. It sounds as if he made the best of his situation -- having a job and a number of interests - and that is to his credit. He was such a good looking boy. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I will keep you and Tony in my prayers. I hope that he is now free.
