Nellie InceNellie B. Ince (nee Burson) 92 years old of Elyria, Ohio died on Monday, September 22, 2008 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria following short illness.

Mrs. Ince was born in Alliance, Ohio on April 28, 1916 and lived in Elyria since 1947.  She graduated from Alliance High School and was employed as the secretary, treasurer, bookkeeper for B. & B. Market in Elyria.    Mrs. Ince was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Elyria.  She also belonged to the VFW Auxiliary Post 1079, the American Legion Post 12 Auxiliary, the a former member of the Elks Does, and she was a charter member of the Women’s Senior Fellowship Club which she helped start.  She also was a volunteer at EMH for 30 years and worked at the Polls on Election Day for many years.  She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, gardening and golf.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Ince to whom she had been married for 63 years; one son, Robert Ince of New York City, New York; and one daughter, Deborah Ince of Penfield Township, Ohio.

Mrs. Ince was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Burson; two sisters, Ann Ziga and Mary Meyers; and her parents, Harry and Ana (nee Conta) Burson.

Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035 on Thursday from 5-8 P.M.  Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 26, 2008 in the funeral home
at 12:00 Noon with the Reverend Roger Talbott, Senior Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
