Peggy Ann Madok-Crisp passed away in her sleep March 9, 2017 at Tierra Pines Nursing Home in Largo, Florida after a lengthy and heroic struggle with Alzheimer's.
Peggy, 71 was born March 28, 1945 in Elyria, Ohio graduating from Elyria High School in 1963. After receiving her AA degree from Lorain County Community College in 1977 she moved to Fairborn, Ohio with her husband and companion of 40 years, Larry. She retired from Wright State University as the facilities administrator for the School of Medicine. During her tenure at Wright State she received her BA in business administration and then her MBA. If she wasn’t working on her degree she and Larry traveled in their motor home. She loved traveling with her pet dogs Rommel and then Lady.
She lived in the Beavercreek, Ohio area from 1977 until moving to Largo, Florida In 2004. Peggy retired in 2000 after successfully overcoming breast cancer. While living in Largo, Florida she became a member of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church. She continued traveling but turned in the motor home for cruise ships. She took over 25 cruises, going to Spain, Azores, the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
She is survived by her husband, Larry and her five sisters, Janet Snell (Jack), Mary Majoras (Al); Betty Lescher (Marty), Alice Oswalt (Louie), Nancy Younkin (Walt), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her her parents, John and Helen (nee Saloy) Madok; a sister, Helen Jezioro; and brothers, George and Johnny.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 5-8 PM. A memorial service will be on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at St Andrews Episcopal Church, 300 3rd Street, Elyria, Ohio at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.

I remember the way Peggy treated everyone she came across with the same amount of respect and friendliness. I will remember her with fondness, and I\\\'m sure she\\\'ll hold a special place in heaven.

I'm remembering Peggy for the twinkle in her eyes when she smiled which was often... she was always kind to everyone. My sincere sympathies to her family and friends as you celebrate her wonderful life.

I remember Peggy as a lively, friendly little EHS cheerleader. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. RIP, sweet Peggy.
