Margaret LichmanMargaret Lichman (nee Diduch), 93 years old formerly of Elyria, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at East Park Care Center in Brookpark, Ohio.

Mrs. Lichman was born on September 8, 1923 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania and lived in Elyria since 1957. She was a graduate of Duquesne High School with the class of 1941. She was a former member of St. Mary Parish in Elyria and then a member of St. Jude Parish, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and St. Jude Seniors. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters, the Jolly 60's and she enjoyed dancing, bowling, traveling, gardening and playing cards.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Teply of Redmond, WA; one son, Robert Lichman of Florence, SC; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1986; two daughters, Marsha Lichman and Margaret Jean Brandstadt; 3 brothers, John and Peter Diduch and Andrew Drake; 6 sisters, Mary Churilla, Irene Opheim, Nellie Diduch, Genevieve Morris, Anna Foremsky, and Sophie Cifranic; and her parents, Thomas and Sophia (nee Demus) Diduch.

Friends may call at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 6-8 PM. Closing prayers will be in the funeral home on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 8:45 AM followed by mass at 9:15AM at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar Street, Elyria, Ohio with Reverend Father Richard Gonser, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.

Memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude Helping Hands.

My sympathies go out to the entire family. Aunt Margaret lived a long and great life and I will cherish and love my memories of her poker playing at the crab bake parties!
