Leonard C. Sesock Print E-mail

Leonard C. Sesock, 79 years old, of Elyria, Ohio passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 following a long illness.

Mr. Sesock was born in Republic, Pennsylvania on August 8, 1938 and lived in Elyria for the past 57 years. He was employed at BSAF (Harshaw Chemical) and retired in 2004. He was a devoted family man and adored spending time with his grandchildren. A brilliant man who could fix anything, he always helped those who needed him. He will be truly missed for his wit and his charm. He loved everybody he knew.

Surviving him are his wife of 57 years, Linda (nee Cramer); two daughters, Darleen (Jeff) Lawson of North Canton and Sandy (Oregon) Sesock Green of Bath, Ohio; grandchildren, Zach Lawson, Courtney Sesock Green, and Jennifer Lawson; adopted grandchildren, Will and Jess Johnson, Scotty and Robbie Lear, Nick Bartlebaugh, and Julia, Natalie, and Anthony Reitz. Also surviving are four sisters, Ann Tomko, Irene Lagorda, Agnes Smith, and Mary Potemry.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Sesock and one sister, Elizabeth Sesock; and his parents, Joseph and Catherine (nee Rush) Sesock.

Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035 on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10 AM with the Reverend Father John Retar, Pastor of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, officiating. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
