Dear Pete, We are so sorry for your loss. Deb was just a force of nature. I remember a time when she wanted to sing a particular song at church but could not find the chords. She contacted the record company and persuaded them to give her contact info for the artist so she could call him and find out how to perform the song. Though it is many years since we saw her, I remember her fondly. It makes me happy to think of her singing in Heaven. God bless you as you grieve. Jack & Linda Burhenne

Dear Pete, Janet and I were so sorry to hear about Deb's passing. From the write- ups on her it sounds like she was an amazing person and we are sorry we never met her. No words can ever express the loss you are feeling. We were thrilled to hear she had a strong Christian faith. If you are ever wondering what she is experiencing now check out the book Imagine Heaven by John Burke who has studied over a thousand near death experiences. You can also see his video series at WWW.gatewaychruch.com/media/campus/series/8/13. John Burke started his career as an engineer. We were introduced to this book when my mother was in her final month during the summer of 2017. We found it extremely comforting. Pete, you are in our prayers. Love Donn and Janet Colbrunn

I met Deb when we both attended Burton Assembly Church, about 33 years ago. I remember being struck by how amazing her voice was and looked forward to hearing her sing - no, I yearned for it - she was spectacular. Every time I told her that she seemed just too humble to believe it... A couple yesrs ago - maybe less - she came to my house, after many years of no contact, stating she wished to pray with me after hearing I had been so ill. She was an amazing warrior for Christ. I love and respect her.
